Toms River Yacht Club member Clay Johnson won the District 10 Laser Championships at the Surf City Yacht Club on Saturday and Sunday. Johnson had one individual victory, three second-place finishes and a third to take top honors in the 39-boat event with 13.75 points. 

Spencer Weber of Surf City Y.C. was second with 22.75. Wind speed averaged 15-20 knots in the competition. 

Jack Elfman of Surf City Y.C. won the Central Atlantic District Lightning Class at Riverton Yacht Club on Saturday and Sunday.

Brant Beach Yacht Club's Annual Regatta was held on Saturday with southerly winds blowing at 15-20 miles per hour. 
Mike Sparks of Manasquan River Yacht Club was the overall winner in the competition.
