Eight classes were competed in the Long Beach Island Championships that concluded Saturday on Manahawkin Bay behind the Surf City Yacht Club. 

The host club got winning performances from Samantha Sutter in the Laser Radial class, Tuathal MacColgain in Optimist Blue and Siaghal MacColgain in Junior Sunfish. 

Surf City also swept the top-three places in the Laser, Lightning and Mariner fleets. Rich Warren took the Laser class, Jack Elfman the Lightning and Terry Moulton the Mariner.
